“I wanted to create a scent that was very feminine, with a very soft, romantic background like Tolstoy's legendary heroine. I was also inspired by the legend of a special flower train which went from the South of France to the Winter Palace to deliver fresh flowers, bringing warmth and the scent of sunshine to Russia. I always imagined how that train would have smelt and the trail it would have left behind and how it would have stayed in one's memory, much like the scent of Karenina would have stayed in the minds of the man who loved her,” Roja Dove.
