In 1936, Albert Fouquet attended a dinner in Megève, where he met Annicke, a young Austrian woman of striking beauty, elegance, and charm. Their conversation, dancing, and the warmth of that winter night left a deep mark on Albert’s heart.\n\nThough he soon had to return to Paris, they exchanged letters and met again in Vienna, particularly at the Belvedere Palace, which became central to their romance. Inspired by their love, Albert created a perfume for her, naming it “Belvedere.”
