The history of the perfume house Eight & Bob is linked to the legendary figure of John F. Kennedy or, at least, that's what its legend says… It was the summer of 1937 when Albert Fouquet, a young Parisian passionate about perfumes who crafted essences in the family home (chateau), met an American student named John F. Kennedy, who was captivated by his olfactory creations. Kennedy asked Fouquet to send him eight perfume samples to the United States plus one for his friend (brother) Bob, hence the name of the brand, Eight & Bob.
Fouquet's early death in 1939 and World War II halted the brand's success in the following years, but the company reemerged in the early 2000s to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's death. (This event occurred after the brand's resurgence). The commemoration of Bob Kennedy's death, who inspires the special edition we have, was in 2018, while the brand reemerged in 2012.
Eight & Bob fragrances are the result of a meticulous crafting process using select raw materials. The brand has a limited production of its essences, making them even more exclusive, and maintains the timeless classic style of its first creations.
