AMBERY (ORIENTAL)
Every summer, Albert Fouquet visited his friend Christian in Honfleur, where they enjoyed the races at the Deauville-La Touques racetrack. Inspired by the scents of Christian’s garden, combined with the sea breeze and coastal vegetation, Albert created a unique perfume that captured the elegance of Deauville’s atmosphere.\n\nOne day, Christian bet with Albert: if his chosen horse won, Albert would reward him with the perfume. The horse lost, but out of friendship, Fouquet later sent him a special creation made with Honfleur roses, cedarwood, and musk, naming it “Le Pari d’Honfleur.”\n\nYears later, Christian’s wife Brigitte revealed that this fragrance had been his greatest “bet” — the one that won her heart.
