MELOGRANO (1965)

The plant originated in Persia and is depicted in the ancient Egyptian tombs. The fruit symbolises many things and is mentioned in the Canticle of Canticles, in the Odyssey and in many ancient popular stories. It would seem that the "pomo" of biblical and mythological fame was not an apple, but a pomegranate.
