For Diptyque, only chypre, the legendary accord with a thousand facets, could pay worthy tribute to Paris, the city of a thousand faces. An Eiffel Tower, roses, flowing calligraphy, a peacock with its tail fanned, volutes, lines intertwined. To illustrate Eau Capitale, Diptyque drew inspiration from Parisian architecture and iconic Art Nouveau buildings.
