IN THE BELLY OF THE BEAST

Today I remembered the only way out is through. I read the Salt Mountain’s thirst for water. I found the tears the world couldn’t hold enclosed inside me. A bottle balancing a ship that sailed years ago. I think I recall my name now. I scream it at 52-hertz but nobody can hear. My ceiling is rotten ice, the plank I had to walk on. They now carry to me. It shall be my blanket. I try to fall asleep and wonder. Do androids dream of electric sheep?
