Marine

Appearing in perfumery in the 1990s, the aquatic marine notes evoked waterfalls and the sea. Different varieties of fecaceae (seaweeds), were processed to obtain absolute algae with varying scents according to species. Nowadays, synthetic molecules allow perfumers to obtain not only the aquatic effects and fragrances of algae, iodine and marine breeze, but also an effect of transparency.
