"Gauguin is the source of inspiration for this perfume. The French painter is famous for his paintings of Polynesian women, sensual and exotic, made of colours and forms that are not realistic but evocative. My intention was to recreate his decadent, mysterious and at times sacral sensuality, and to draw inspiration from his colours and forms to create harmonies that are not realistic but magical and imaginative."
