FALL OF PHAETON

Fall of Phaeton draws inspiration from the dramatic and dynamic style of Flemish Baroque painter Peter Paul Rubens. When Phaeton, the son of Helios, stepped into the sun god's chariot, he lost control. The horses, driven wild, scorched and froze the earth. Zeus responded by striking Phaeton with a devastating thunderbolt. This bold fragrance pays homage to the tragedy of Phaeton, who although he greatly failed, more greatly he dared.
