WEST INDIAN LIMES

Ever since Christopher Columbus discovered the West Indies, people have delighted in the exotic plants and fruits found there. Truefitt's first citrus fragrances were formulated in the 1870s and soon became a favourite of Queen Victoria. Bouquet Imperial, specially blended for Queen Victoria by Truefitts perfumers in 1876 to celebrate her coronation as Empress of India, was in fact a floral fougere from which the current West Indian Limes fragrance evolved.
