Freshman is based on one of the first formulations of William Francis Truefitt actually dating back to 1805. This subtle and refreshing fougere was blended with fashion conscious undergraduates of prestigious universities such as Oxford and Cambridge in mind, eager to look and smell their best while mingling with London's high society.
