The suede note is created synthetically by perfumers. It evokes the suave, velvety scent of real suede—adding a modern touch to leather notes in perfumery. There are two possible origins of this accord: secretions from the musk deer that were formerly used and contained muscone, or the tactile aspect of suede, which is softer and suppler than leather.
In its first version published in 2004, this perfume already plays the duo Suede-Leather. "A skin to skin, leaving touch and smell confused. An approach to boreal leather, powdered with pollen and an almond-like sweetness. A fluffy and luminous suede."
