Rouge Privé is inspired by the dark novel “Roxana” by Daniel Defoe. It tells the story of a woman who has traded her virtue for living a wicked life as the fortunate mistress of rich and powerful men. The novel addresses themes of seduction, dreams of fame, illusions, escape and triumph over personal weaknesses.
