This fragrance is inspired by the drawers of the sacristy of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, where an almost "institutional" smell symbolically recalls the set of rites handed down by the Church of Rome. Pontifex Maximus is the highest priestly office and has been assumed by the Pope since the 5th century.
