ATLANTIDE

Atlantis is a legendary and mysterious island, its myth was mentioned for the first time by Plato in the works "Timaeus" (17-27) and "Critias" in the fourth century BC. According to Plato's account, Atlantis was a great naval power located "beyond the Pillars of Hercules" and was sunk beneath the waves "in a single day and night of misfortune" by Poseidon.
