Aromatherapy is much more than a trendy activity is a therapy with proved efficiency. Basically, like a spa or a treatment for minor discomforts. Aromatherapy is based in the cure through essential oils, and it’s considered an alternative medicine. That doesn’t mean it cures a particular illness, but it is said it helps minimizing some of the symptoms.

Essential oils are directly inhaled or mixed with creams and massage oils. We must be careful if we apply them directly to the skin since they can irritate it. The best for their domestic use is to buy products ready to use, always reading the instructions, specially when it comes to edible oils (like peppermint). We recommend first discussing their use with a professional to ensure their good use.
