Mocha Mousse Pantone, the 2025 Color of the Year, enters the world of perfume, creating a play of synesthesia between color, taste, and aroma. Coffee, chocolate, and cocoa invite us to enjoy the gourmand territory with all our senses.

Mocha Mouse is "a warm brown shade imbued with richness," explains Pantone. It evokes a luscious impression, as well as comforting sensations, aligned with sophisticated yet accessible lifestyle trends.
In addition, with this color, Pantone is making its debut in perfumery through a collaboration with dsm-firmenich and Pura, a company specialized in smart home technology, with whom they have created two exclusive home scents.
According to Pura, the Pura x Pantone collection will be available on January 21st. It will consist of a smart diffuser in the color of the season and two fragrances inspired by Pantone 2025: Mocha Moments, a gourmet blend of melted chocolate, brown sugar, coffee, and vanilla; and Mocha Suede, a woody essence with coffee beans, leather, cardamom, and amber.
This collaboration offers the opportunity to experience color through fragrance like never before and to transform spaces with scent and color.

"This partnership brings together Pura's immersive sensory experiences and Pantone's design influence, allowing users to fully connect with the warmth, harmony, and delight inspired by Mocha Mousse," explains Mara Dumski, Fragrance Experience Director at Pura.
Meanwhile, perfumer Honorine Blanc of dsm-firmenich has developed a multi-sensory aroma in the fragrance Mocha Mousse Smell-The-TasteTM, bringing to life a unique fragrance and flavor inspired by the color of 2025.
"Mocha is a blend of intense, warm browns: its bold flavors of coffee and chocolate combine in a drink that radiates warmth and luxury. Meanwhile, mousse is light, sweet, and airy, created by mixing whipped egg whites with a chocolate base or fruit purée. Together, they inspire a light chocolate brown, a fusion of indulgence and refinement," explains dsm-firmenich.

According to data from Circana, the luxury beauty business grew by single digits in revenue during Black Friday week.
The consultancy highlights that the best indicator is sales volume, which grew by double digits. By category, makeup grew the fastest, followed by fragrances, hair care and skincare products.
According to Larissa Jensen, Global Beauty Industry Advisor at Circana, the holidays are an excellent occasion for prestige beauty but not as much for mass-market brands. "Mass market beauty sales recorded declines across all categories during that week," she explains.
The analyst notes that luxury beauty has seen four consecutive years of double-digit growth during the holiday season.
As for forecasts for the quarter-end, Circana projects a single-digit increase.

Coty, the giant in perfumes and cosmetics, has reached an agreement with Swarovski to develop a line of fragrances and beauty products. Thanks to this partnership, Swarovski will bring its unique "Pop Luxury" essence – a combination of creative, colorful, and extravagant luxury – into the beauty universe, celebrating individuality and elegance.
"This licensing agreement aligns with our strategy to focus on licensing with multi-category potential licenses. We are excited to work with Swarovski to develop truly brilliant beauty products that inspire elegance and individual expression," stated Jean Holtzmann, Chief Brands Officer Prestige at Coty.
Under this agreement, Swarovski will expand beyond its jewelry, crystal, and accessory creations to offer a fragrance line, set to debut in 2026. The launch will mark a new chapter in the history of the Austrian brand.

The agreement between Interparfums and Off-White will take effect in December 2025, although the collaboration has already been announced.
With an urban style and a high-end positioning, the Off-White fashion brand entrusts its fragrance license to Interparfums, which takes on the challenge of translating the brand's artistic, disruptive spirit into perfumes.
"Off-White combines the worlds of street fashion and luxury with a spirit of talent and inventiveness. This is a great opportunity for us considering the brand's unique positioning, not to mention the impressive creative legacy of Virgil Abloh. This brand will help us explore new opportunities for luxury fragrances," said Philippe Benacin, President and CEO of Interparfums.

In partnership with Nirvana Brands and Takasago, the RS Nº9 perfume is launched, capturing the energy and history of the legendary rock group The Rolling Stones.
This is a very special release, as only 999 individually numbered perfumes will be available, making it a highly coveted collector's piece.
RS Nº9 is born from a collaboration between Bravado, a merchandising subsidiary of Universal Music Group, and the British fragrance company Nirvana Brands. The fragrance has been developed by Takasago perfumer Catherine Selig, featuring notes of bergamot and lemon, leather, labdanum, and a base of oud, musk, and patchouli.
"This is a dream project. I wanted to capture the timelessness of The Rolling Stones – their inimitable style, rebellious spirit, and the feeling of freedom their music still inspires. Each note represents a different facet of the Stones' legacy, from their soulful melodies to their unpredictability on stage. This fragrance is a journey through their world, full of richness, texture, and bold contrasts," explained Selig.
For those unable to get their hands on RS Nº9, there will be another opportunity in 2025, when the band will present a complete collection.
