This prolific perfumer - with so many creations behind her - is so discreet and humble that she would rather send someone else in her place to accept the prizes she receives. Her ultimate reward is to pass someone in the street wearing one of her compositions and to discover that this woman has chosen to make Nathalie's fragrance a part of her life, a part of her intimate world…
"I don't do this work for myself. The real goal is to move people. People often ask me if I have created my own personal fragrance, but that doesn't interest me at all! I am the centre of this work. I think about creating for someone else, for someone specific, in the hope that other people will want to make it their own. I'm not a film star… or a painter posing next to her canvas. In fact, I am more like an author who disappears behind his own words".
