Gregorio Sola

Gregorio Sola is a renowned Senior Perfumer and Creative Director at Puig, where he has worked for over 19 years developing lifestyle fragrances for some of the world's best-selling brands. A member of the Academy of Perfume, "Sandalwood Armchair", he has been recognised for his creative talent and ability to innovate in the complex sector of perfumery.
Since his childhood, Gregorio has been surrounded by the world of perfumery. Born into a family with ties to the industry, he discovered his passion for perfumes by conducting his own olfactory experiments from an early age. After graduating as a chemist specialising in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alcalá, Gregorio specialised in Perfumery at the prestigious ISIPCA school. He completed his training over the years with courses at L'Ecôle de Parfumerie Givaudan, Symrise, Expression Parfumées and LMR (Laboratoire Monique Remy) with Madame Mónique Remy.
Today, as Senior Perfumer at Puig, he is responsible for the creation of some of the world's best-selling perfumes. He is a tireless explorer, always in search of the best quality, innovation and creativity for his perfumes. A believer that perfume is an art that can leave a unique mark on our lives, he believes that in perfumery it is necessary to have the ability to listen to and interpret the trends of the moment.
Gregorio is an expert in sustainable perfumes and has an in-depth knowledge of natural raw materials, as well as a keen interest in technological developments and advances in legislative requirements in the complex perfume industry.
He firmly believes in the need to spread the culture of perfume to everyone, and is an excellent disseminator with a profound didactic vocation that he exercises at an international level.
He stands out for his ability to create exquisite perfumes that open the curiosity and love for perfume to the widest segment of the population, interpreting in perfume the trends of a vibrant and changing society. In addition, he has a great vocation for teaching and is generous in sharing his knowledge from the naturalness of a passion innate to him. Gregorio has created fragrances for the Museo Nacional del Prado and for the Mobile World Congress 2023, demonstrating his talent and his ability to innovate in the complex world of perfumery.
