Dora Baghriche

Dora Baghriche's grandmothers were pastry chefs and she devlopped a passionate relationship with food thanks to their influence. Her first fragrance memories during her childhood are full of the scents of pine nut cream, cinnamon treats and almonds.

Dora Baghriche's first love was writing. She dreamed of becoming an international reporter before falling in love with perfume and perfumery. Both her grandmothers were confectioners and through their influence she developed a passionate relationship with food. Her earliest olfactory memories of childhood are filled with pine nut, cinnamon and almond cream.
Always curious, Dora's inquisitive mind has always pushed her towards discovery, which is why she has often discovered unknown artists of extraordinary talent. Many of her friends are musicians, filmmakers and actors from the most diverse creative fields. Her own experiences are equally varied, from the Mediterranean maquis to the Asian countryside to New York, an environment that inspired her and helped her to discover much when she lived there. Italy is also an important part of her life: "Italy is a country, a language and a culture that resonate with me," she says. Very independent, she feels comfortable travelling alone, and admits that it gives her a certain pleasure. She has magical moments that are no doubt similar to those she experiences when creating a new fragrance. In both cases, she isolates herself to think and find the right angle. I wrap up the questions that destiny inspires in me, allow them to become personal and then capture them in my diary; an accumulation of complex and multifaceted specifications. It is in this little book that she is reunited with her literary roots. Dora writes down everything, from descriptions to inspirations.
Dora likes to say that she works with perfume. It is her ally, it opens up a field of infinite emotional possibilities. From each creation, from each collaboration, a little bit of magic is released.
