Christian Alori thrives on movement, fluidity, and adrenaline—whether in music, surfing, or perfumery. Born in New York to Argentine parents, he grew up between two cultures, embracing a creative path that led him from sound engineering to fragrance. His fascination with raw materials and the way they evolve over time sparked a passion for perfumery, setting him on a journey of discovery and mastery.
He began his career in Buenos Aires, studying perfumery and working on household and toiletry fragrances. Determined to grow, he moved to New York and joined IFF, rising from lab assistant to perfumer while learning from industry legends along the way.
Now a perfumer at IFF, Christian approaches fragrance as a living form—an alchemy of powerful ingredients that create synergy, contrast, and addictive energy. He draws inspiration from water, nature, and music, often aiming to capture the essence of a rhythm or a crashing wave in a scent. For him, perfumery is about more than just a beautiful composition—it’s about creating a lasting, immersive experience that transcends time.
