Antoine Lie

Antoine Lie is one of the most charismatic figures in contemporary perfumery.
A man of contrasts with a direct, insolent and unpretentious olfactory signature, he is known for his unconventional, striking creations.

A bit of a provocateur, he has never stopped experimenting with his vision of perfumery.
The man who never agreed to give up his creativity and denounced the limits of industrial perfumery at the end of the 90s, worked for nearly 30 years in the major perfume houses: Givaudan, IFF and then Takasago.
His creations range from commercial successes such as Armani Code, Romance for Men by Ralph Lauren and Cristal Noir by Versace, to the punkish, avant-garde fragrances of Etat Libre d'Orange and Comme des Garçons.
What they all have in common is that they are unforgettable.
In 2018, Antoine Lie became an independent perfumer and says he is wiser, preferring to focus his energy on innovative projects and new olfactory territories. He wants to build unique relationships for exceptional fragrances and think about tomorrow, adding an environmental and ethical dimension to his approach.
II has surrounded himself with partners of excellence, giving him a unique and committed palette of raw materials. Jamal's rose for the perfume house Les Indémodables is a fine example.
