Citruses

Energetic and tangy, offering a sparkling freshness.

Effortlessly bright, energetic and light, citrus notes bring a zesty vibrancy to both feminine and masculine fragrances. Perfect to spritz on a summer’s day, fragrances belonging to the citrus family are renowned for evoking a sparkling freshness—tangy yet sweetly inviting. Citrus notes are often balanced with other olfactory families—most notably in floral and ambery fragrances—but blend beautifully with almost any accord.

Did you know...

Energetic and tangy, the sparkling freshness that citrus notes evoke is acquired through the cold expression of citrus peel—resulting in the distinctly zesty facets that we have grown accustomed to in perfumery. Citrus facets (and the citrus family at large) are also referred to as hesperidium. The citrus family encompasses a wide variety of notes, including bergamot, communelle, sweet orange, orange bigarade, mandarin, clementine, yuzu, lime, lemon, citron, verbena and grapefruit.
