There are treasures that can only be appreciated with time. Annick Goutal realised this in a garden in Kyoto, when her husband Alain offered her a bouquet of gardenias. Twelve hours later, she was still under its spell: the scent she had loved so much the day before had intensified, the smell was deliciously earthy. Gardénia Passion was born.
