Synonymous with elegance, Carven has reinvented itself over the years, as this French fashion brand has lived through two stages: the first, under the leadership of its founder, Madame Carven, who created it in 1945; and the second, from 2009, when Guillaume Henry took over its management, which has been continued by other designers. But if anything has kept Carven's values alive, it has been its fragrances, from Ma Griffe (1946), considered a classic chypre of perfumery, pioneer in using green notes in a preeminent way, which has been relaunched in 2013.
Synonymous with French chic, Carven has also won the favour of the male public since its beginnings with the perfume Vétiver. It is in the 2000s that the brand regains its splendour through perfumery with Carven Le Parfum, a sparkling floral scent, and Dans Ma Bulle, a delicate ambery floral scent.
