Peach Fuzz fragrances to start the year with positive energy

The Pantone® Color Institute's annual choice of the colour of the year goes beyond aesthetics, design and fashion to reflect social and cultural trends.

The Pantone® Color Institute's annual choice of the colour of the year goes beyond aesthetics, design and fashion to reflect social and cultural trends.

The velvety soft peach shade, Peach Fuzz 13-1023, takes over from the vibrant Viva Magenta that starred in 2023, marking a significant shift in emotional focus. Where bold magenta expressed vigour, vitality and dynamism, this warm and comforting shade between pink and orange conveys a profound message of empathy in an unstable and ever-changing world.

"We were looking for a shade that would express our innate desire for closeness and connection, so we chose this radiant colour that exudes warmth and modern elegance," explains Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone® Color Institute.

Peach is a recurring colour in the field of perfumery. We find it in great classics such as Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel or more recently in relevant creations such as L'Interdit by Givenchy or I Want Choo by Jimmy Choo, which also includes this juicy fruit among its notes. This is not always the case, but it is common for fragrances that play with this tone to contain floral and fruity nuances and touches of amber.

Sì Eau de Parfum Intense, Giorgio Armani

Sì Eau de Parfum Intense, Giorgio Armani

From the ambery chypre family, the latest version of this iconic Armani fragrance opens with the freshness and vitality of redcurrant nectar to evolve into a velvety floral heart of damask rose and davana essential oil. The infusion of bourbon vanilla from Madagascar merges with black tea in the base, creating a very seductive smoky and herbaceous nuance.

Designed to embody an empowered woman, confident and ready to take on any challenge, the eau de parfum is presented in a new refillable bottle, reflecting Giorgio Armani's commitment to sustainability and care for the environment. The vanilla is also responsibly sourced through a programme that supports local communities.

Solo Ella Elixir, Loewe

Solo Ella Elixir, Loewe

The Elixirs collection opens a new olfactory chapter at Loewe. Solo Ella Elixir is an evolution of the original fragrance with an exceptionally high concentration of 30% essential oils, revealing an unprecedented intensity. It is a delicate and nuanced juice that combines fruity, floral and spicy accords with notes of pear, tuberose, sandalwood and musk to evoke the sunset, leaving a powerful trail in its wake.

Devotion, Dolce & Gabbana

Devotion, Dolce & Gabbana

Nose Olivier Cresp has created the Italian brand's first luminous and gourmand fragrance, an eau de parfum of contrasts in which the freshness of orange blossom mingles with the sweetness of Madagascar vanilla, transporting us to the joyful Italian landscapes. Ambery and spicy, the key ingredients of the composition are candied citrus fruits, responsible for Devotion's gourmand side.

Idôle Now, Lancôme

Idôle Now, Lancôme

Following in the wake of La Vie est Belle, possibly the Maison's most successful franchise, Idôle has also found its place and continues to expand its olfactory family with new variants that retain the essence of the original, but with a twist. In this case, nature merges with science to enrich the formula and make it more sustainable. The rose scent is complemented by a natural orchid accord and a sustainable vanilla infusion enhanced with converted vanilla.

Alien Goddess Supra Florale, Mugler

Alien Goddess Supra Florale, Mugler

Bright, floral and ambery, it takes the florality of the original fragrance and sublimates it to reinvent itself, unveiling a new vision even more daring and avant-garde as perfumers Marie Salamagne and Nathalie Lorson point out. The fresh accord of cactus blossom and juicy pear merges with the super-infused heart of Grandiflorum jasmine, its hallmark, spiced with immortelle flower.

A Kiss of Bliss, Penhaligon's

A Kiss of Bliss, Penhaligon's

Part of the British firm's Potions and Remedies collection, this genderless elixir is a potion that instils joy and optimism and is capable of improving the mood thanks to the combination of bergamot with clover and rose in its top notes, which give way to a heart of matcha tea, jasmine and heliotrope to culminate in a base of musk, moss and patchouli.

On a Date, Replica Maison Margiela

On a Date, Replica Maison Margiela

This unisex eau de toilette is inspired by a late summer sunset rendezvous overlooking the vineyards of Provence. Perfumer Carlos Benaïm drew on his memories of the French region to capture the essence of the Mediterranean. He uses the fruity and sparkling notes of ripe grapes and blends them with delicate wild roses. These notes are joined by bergamot, a sweet accord of blackcurrant liqueur and sensual, woody patchouli.

Aqua Allegoria Forte Oud Yuzu, Guerlain

Aqua Allegoria Forte Oud Yuzu, Guerlain

For perfumer Delphine Jelk, this unisex fragrance "is the surprising enhancement of oud wood, mysterious and sacred, fusing with the tangy freshness of yuzu". Warm and enveloping, it offers an unexpected contrast of wood and citrus that pays homage to the beauty of nature. Its formula is composed of more than 90% ingredients of natural origin and the French beetroot alcohol it contains comes from responsible agriculture, which, combined with its refillable packaging, makes it more sustainable and reinforces Guerlain's commitment to the environment.
