Nicolas Beaulieu

Making perfumes that are pleasing to wear, convivial perfumes, combining differences, uniting lives.

Nicolas creates to see smiles bloom and to hear people say: "I love wearing your perfume. That is the best reward. I like to put my heart and my talent into giving people pleasure, to make my love of sharing accessible to all kinds of people. That is the luxury of my profession. You can work for the benefit of all and use olfactory forms of all kinds. The versatility of scents applies to the diversity of the world and Nicolas knows all types of perfume. He masters them all, plays with them and builds unexpected bridges.
As a child, Nicolas lived in a small village of twenty inhabitants near Provins, in a little house with a garden. At that time, smells were part of his landscape. "The farm, the roses, the garden, the earth, the spices in my mother's kitchen? I was surrounded by smells. A professional advisor offered him the opportunity of a lifetime when she told him about Isipca: "I remembered the Isipca open day and the strange olfactory impression I got from all the smells, the decoration, the parquet, the beautiful wood panelling, it was a whole world, an experience". Since that day, Nicolas has always been aware of his good fortune to have found his vocation.
He began by exploring the technical creativity of functional perfumery. "Overcoming technical challenges is also creative. It may not be artistic, but it is creative. Having a particularly volatile note in your hands, keeping it at a certain evaporation point, mastering the temperature, adjusting the vapour… that's functional perfumery. Thanks to these experiences, one is trained to experiment. You have to be determined and try everything, but it doesn't really work if it's not backed up by rigour".
