Ane Ayo

Ane Ayo's personality has been shaped by a variety of European treasures. After growing up in Spain, Ane studied in the UK, spent time in Germany and has been working in France for several years. This multicultural background has accustomed her to drawing inspiration from everything the world has to offer.
From her childhood in Bilbao she has a memory of freedom. Facing the ocean, her house overlooked infinity. Her olfactory sensitivity was already highly developed, and as a child her father gave her a perfume organ: a game called Olfanova. At the time, it was just an amusement. Ane also liked to recognise guests by their scent trail.
Ane studied pharmacy before discovering an article about Alberto Morillas in a Spanish newspaper. Then she realised that this passion could become a profession. Ane took a master's degree in perfumery and fashion business management before joining the Grasse Perfumery Institute. She completed her training with a perfumer from Grasse, Philippe Romano, who passed on to her his sensitivity and his attachment to natural raw materials. For Ane, perfumery is a profession of trust and sharing. It is also a passion that allows her to express her sense of aesthetics and to fulfil herself, while opening the doors to the world.
Very visual, Ane is particularly interested in painting, fashion, dance, fabrics and colours. She likes to spend her free time creating collections and perfumes around the same theme. Her flower collection, "L'Atelier des Fleurs", is based on Memory lavender and Saffron tuberose. She thus combines drawing, design and perfume. Ane uses the strong ideas of her collections for her creations; this work allows her to divert and sculpt the materials to reveal their uniqueness.
This generous and passionate young woman also draws much of her inspiration from her travels. Japan in particular, which amazes her as much for its culture and gastronomy as for its art. Menorca, her "holiday island", occupies a special place. The colour blue evokes her stays on this contrasting, surprising and different island. The sea resonates in her in a very emotional way. Ane also enjoys wandering the streets of Paris, walking aimlessly and strolling through the bookshops of museums where different themes mix: design and decoration, photography, fashion or architecture. Ane's memories are a great source of creativity.
