Olivia Giacobetti

"I like things that are unintentional and unexpected, like the sweet, milky smell of fig leaf on a man or dry wood on a woman, which, for me, is more modern and seductive."

Olivia Giacobetti is a French perfumer renowned for her refined, poetic style, which favours light, transparent compositions. Passionate about scents since childhood, she entered the world of perfume at a very young age, training at the age of 16 with the house of Robertet, a benchmark in the field of natural raw materials.
In 1990, aged just 23, she scored her first success with Premier Figuier for L'Artisan Parfumeur, a revolutionary fragrance that captures the milky, woody freshness of the fig tree. This creation marked the start of a prolific career, in which she collaborated with prestigious houses such as Diptyque, Hermès, Goutal, Frédéric Malle and Byredo.
In 1998, she founded her own creative studio, Iskia, enabling her to explore a more intimate and daring perfumery. She has created iconic compositions such as Dzing! and L'Eau d'Hiver, as well as fragrances for Honoré des Prés, which promotes organic and natural perfumery.
Olivia Giacobetti is renowned for her ability to capture fleeting moments and translate them into subtle scents, playing with contrasts between the natural and the abstract. Discreet but influential, she continues to inspire contemporary perfumery with her sensorial and minimalist approach.
