Daphné Bugey

Daphne Bugey knew from the age of 10 that she was destined to become a perfumer. Her determination won out very early on and nothing has ever deterred her from this career. Passionate about everything that makes up the world of fragrances, she collected bottles and advertisements, always on the lookout for scents. Nothing escaped her. Thanks to her early curiosity, she already had a solid knowledge of the perfume market when she began her training in perfumery.
Daphne Bugey is a perfumer who likes to spread her wings. Her first experience with the thrill of flight came during a solo paragliding flight and created her addiction to kitesurfing. Enchanted by the power of the wind, Daphne is a modern adventurer. She has explored both the skies and the depths of the seas. Daphne is not attracted by risk, but by the thrill of each of her experiences.
As a perfumer, Daphne is also a free spirit, who travels the world: from mountains to deserts. She took control of her destiny and decided to take a sabbatical year to learn, observe and feel the world at her own pace. Her journey across continents was organised around three key themes that have personal meaning for her: nature, spirituality and contemporary art.
Always receptive to the world around her, Daphne ate alone only twice that year and drew incredible strength from this experience of total freedom: "Freedom is not being afraid". In her meetings, Daphne follows her instinct. She tends to be selective in her choices, but with those she really connects with, she gives herself completely and everything becomes possible. Enthusiastic and generous, she gladly opens the doors of her creative imagination.
Daphne suffers from an excess of rationality and does not want to change the way she is. She is curious about the world around her, with a constant appetite for learning. She wants to experience everything. Her creations benefit from this approach and her perfumery reflects her perfectly: spontaneous, bold and free.
