At the heart of L'Entropiste is the enigmatic figure known as the Master of Disorder, Bertrand Duchaufour. This perfumer, with his unique philosophy and 40 years of experience, is celebrated as a legend in the world of perfumery and is still known as the "Master of Incense".
"Entropy, a universal law that causes imbalance and leads to chaos, has become the very principle of my creations. I deliberately introduce imbalance to create dynamics. Harmony arises from unexpected contrasts and a deliberate tension between the forces of the fragrances I work with."

In this first collection, Bertrand Duchaufour wanted to create a new balance, combining the gifts of nature with raw materials and human creativity. He does this through the very beauty of disorder, demonstrating that chaos is not just a source of disorder, but a crucible of creation.
